Emily Cureton's muse is the NYT crossword

There's a new blog you're sure to enjoy—artist Emily Cureton has taken to drawing pictures that riff on a handful of answers from each day's New York Times crossword. Some of you have seen her artwork over at the Rex Parker blog, but now Emily's got a dedicated site, Daily Crossword Drawings. The December 31 entry—one of my favorites—spotlights LOON, NAMECALLING, and LIAR:



I hear Emily will be selling stuff featuring her drawings at the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. T-shirts, mugs, prints? I have no idea. But I'm looking forward to shopping!
