Chicago Tribune "Puzzle Island"

Heads-up to Chicago-area puzzle fans: This weekend, the Sunday Trib will have a four-page puzzle section they're calling "Puzzle Island." I don't know what sort of puzzles they'll be, but I'm going to buy the paper to find out.

When financial considerations make the NYT move the second Sunday puzzle out of the Magazine (when ad pages are down...which could be every week this year) and inspire the Atlantic Monthly to drop the Hex cryptic from the magazine website, it's encouraging to see some extra puzzles pop up in a newspaper. Man, I hope it's not a page of word searches, Jumbles, and amateur crosswords.
